What Happened in July…

I’ve never done a wrap-up post before, so let’s see how this goes. It’s not going to be the same as a lot of other peoples’ posts, because I’ve got no idea what I’m doing. (As time goes on, I promise I’ll get better.) I did a lot of things in July, and while not all of them were that great, I did do several things that were outside of my comfort zone.

In the month of July, I…

  • Read 9 Books (that I remember; I’ll keep better track next month!)
    • The Android’s Dream by John Scalzi
    • Old Man’s War by John Scalzi
    • Redwall by Brian Jacques
    • Mossflower by Brian Jacques
    • Mattimeo by Brian Jacques
    • Mariel of Redwall by Brian Jacques
    • Salamandastron by Brian Jacques
    • Martin the Warrior by Brian Jacques
    • Brains: A Zombie Memoir by Robin Becker
  • Tried 2 Recipes
    • Garlic Roasted Potatoes
    • Caprese Calzones
  • Bought a bunch of useless stuff
    • A Spirited Away dress (I’ve never seen Spirited Away)
    • A Firefly Encyclopedia (Compendium?)
    • Yoga Gloves & Socks (to keep myself from hurting myself while doing yoga)
    • A 12-month XBox Live membership renewal
    • A casserole dish
  • Visited:
    • American Village
  • Attended:
    • Welcome to Night Vale’s live show at the Lyric Theatre
    • Excelsior’s 2017 Store Championship (I came in 35/43…)
    • IMAX Premiere of Dunkirk
  • Hiked
    • Moss Rock Preserve’s Boulder Gorge Loop

What was your greatest accomplishment in July? Did you do anything particularly outrageous? Read any good books?
