#TheReadingQuest Sign-Up Post

Since I’ve got a book blog, it’s only fair that I participate in at least one reading challenge (or more!) while I’ve got the chance. School starts in a few weeks, and I’m still dealing with multiple emotional issues on my own end, so why not distract myself with a reading challenge?

Thanks to Aentee @ Read at Midnight, I’ve found the right challenge for me. It involves the following quest board:

I’ve chosen the path of Mage for this reading quest! That means I’ve got to read the following books:

  • A book with a one word title: Magyk, by Angie Sage
  • A book that contains magic: Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
  • A book based on mythology: The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien (based on Norse mythology)
  • A book set in a different world: The Bellmaker by Brian Jacques (Redwall!)
  • The first book in a series: A Great & Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray

After I finish these, I’ll take a look at the books in the center of the board, and around the other questlines! Check back here & on Twitter for those details!

I’ll be keeping track at the bottom of my already-scheduled posts, so keep an eye on those! I’ll also be tweeting about it on my twitter account, so if you want to keep up with me easier, that’s probably the route to go.

Yeah…my graphic design skills aren’t as great as they could be.

Thanks to CW @ Read, Think, Ponder for the killer graphic bases/templates! I wish I could do it justice, but I’m pretty rusty. (it’s not nearly as shiny as Aetnee’s.)

Wish me luck!
